Champions of the movement, specifically Al Gore cares so much about saving our planet that he sacrificed his time and energy to earn $500,000,000 in his various carbon credit trading companies in order to combat this crisis.
John Kerry - Climate Czar
John Kerry's job is so important that he must cause more climate change to combat climate change. While this may sound contradictory in nature, it must be pointed out that these are politicians. They are more important, and better than, citizens. There is absolutely no way that John Kerry could attend conferences virtually to save spewing tens of thousands of tons of "greenhouse gasses" into the atmosphere.
Impact
The earth is warming climate changing at a rate we have never seen before. If this trend is not reversed, which can only happen by living without modern conveniences like the internal combustion engine, temperatures may once again reach the records set in the 1930's in the United States.
Contradictory Evidence
Some have pointed out that there have been warmer periods of earth's history. Two periods, specifically, are known as the Medieval Warm Period and the Rome Warm Period. However, experts generally agree that these were localized phenomenon, not an overall raise in worldwide temperature. These experts include Zeke Trongard, the owner of Zeke's Solar Panels of West Memphis, Arkansas. Another expert, Philip Fleming of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, a windmill salesman, made the claim that is impossible for them to accurately know the temperatures so long ago since the thermometer had not been invented yet.
